Trans-Papua Road Cracked by Earthquake Length 1.2 Km

- Some of the Trans Papua roads in the Boven Digul-Waropko-Iwur segment were cracked after a 7.6 magnitude earthquake struck Papua New Guinea on Monday (26/2). Head of the National Road Implementation Center (BBPJN) X Papua and West Papua, Osman Marbun said the length of the cracked road has been recorded about 1.2 km.

"The estimated length of the road that has cracks approximately 1.2 km," he said when contacted on Wednesday (28/2/2018).
Osman explains, some of the roads that have cracked did not cause the interruption of land transportation routes, so the vehicle can still pass through the cracked road.
